1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Superintelligent Academy (the “Service”), including course content, community areas, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company/municipality/organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users 16 years and older. If you are under 18, you confirm you have the necessary permission under applicable law.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for:
providing accurate account information,
maintaining confidentiality of login credentials,
all activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for security reasons or violations of these Terms.
4. Purchases, pricing, and payments
Prices are shown at checkout (including any applicable VAT where required).
Payments are processed via Stripe and/or other methods made available in the Service.
Access to paid content is granted after successful payment (or per invoicing terms for organizations, where agreed).
5. Consumer right of withdrawal (EU/EEA)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for certain purchases. However, for digital content/services supplied immediately (e.g., course access), you may lose the withdrawal right once performance begins if you expressly consent and acknowledge this at checkout, as required by law.
If you need assistance, contact [email protected]. Any separate Refund Policy published on the checkout page or course sales page will apply in addition to mandatory consumer rights.
6. License to use content
Unless stated otherwise:
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the course content for your internal learning purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly display, or create derivative works from the content except where explicitly permitted.
Organization licenses (e.g., multi-seat access) apply according to the purchased plan or written agreement.
7. Intellectual property
All content and materials in the Service (videos, text, slides, templates, quizzes, branding, and trademarks) are owned by or licensed to Superintelligent Group AB and are protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
8. User content (community posts, submissions)
If you submit content (posts, assignments, comments, files):
you retain ownership of your content, but
you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, display, and process it solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide community features.
You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any submitted materials and that they do not violate any laws or third-party rights.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
violate laws or regulations,
infringe IP rights,
upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service,
harass, abuse, or discriminate against others,
attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems,
use the Service to develop or disseminate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
We may remove content and/or suspend accounts for violations.
10. AI-assisted content notice (EU AI Act–aligned transparency)
Some course materials may be AI-assisted (drafted or refined using tools from OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft) and then reviewed by humans before publication.
AI-assisted content may contain errors or omissions; it is provided for educational purposes.
The Service does not use AI to make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
You should not rely on course content as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice) unless explicitly stated and appropriately qualified.
11. Third-party services and links
The Service is delivered via third-party providers (including Thinkific and Stripe). Your use may also be subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services beyond our control.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, update, or discontinue parts of the Service, including course content, for operational, pedagogical, or legal reasons.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law:
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee that the Service will meet all requirements or that content is error-free.
Learning outcomes depend on individual effort and context.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Superintelligent Group AB will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits/data, arising from your use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law (including mandatory consumer protections).
15. Indemnity (business users)
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for legal/security reasons. Certain provisions (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
For consumers in the EU/EEA, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and may bring claims in your home jurisdiction where applicable.
For business users, disputes shall be handled by Swedish courts with venue in Sweden (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
